Bio
It was his grandfather's influence that encouraged Couailles to become active in aeromodelling, aged just six years old. Since those early days, his love for flight and aeronautics has become a huge part of his every day life.
His competition experience led him to win the French Junior Champion title in 2023, then in 2024 he went on to become French Vice-Champion. Participating in the FAI World Drone Racing Championships 2024 as part of the French team, who took 4th place, with Couailles coming 29th overall.
Other activities
Couailles is currently a student on an apprenticeship in aeronautics, drawing upon the skills he has acquired in drone racing to pursue a professional career.

What are your goals for this competition?
"I just want to give it my all and do the best of myself and enjoy it as much as possible."
What is your training timetable like?
"I train every day in the simulator, and as soon as the weather is nice in France we're off again for IRL"
What do you hope to achieve at the event?
"I'm looking forward to having fun and having the best possible race."
