FAI Hang Gliding and Paragliding Commission (CIVL)

The 8th FAI European Paragliding Accuracy Championships have launched in Gjirokaster, Albania. It is organized by the “Albania Open Air” club on behalf of the “Albanian Air Sports Federation” - the NAC of Albania. The event will be held from Oct 4 to Oct 12, 2024. 100 pilots from 22 countries (including 2 guest countries)  - in total 81 men and 19 women - came to compete in Gjirokaster.
The event began with Category 1 Judges training carried out by the chief judge of the event, followed by participants' on-site registration.

The 6th FAI Pan-American Paragliding Championships were held in Andradas, MG, Brazil, on September 15-22, 2024. The event was organized by Vetor Esportes with the support of CAB Comissão de Aerodesporto Brasileira - the NAC of Brazil. There were 5 valid tasks of about 80 km each (407 km in total) flown at the event. The first task was cancelled due to weather.
